ArtsEd Extra Inclusivity Policy

Inclusivity Policy

At ArtsEd EXTRA we hope to provide a space for participants to learn, grow and thrive. To do so we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all. We welcome all participants regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation or cultural background.

Although we understand that our teaching practises may not be suited to all participants, ArtsEd EXTRA will endeavour to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that participant’s needs are met. If we feel, at any point, that we are unable to make reasonable adjustments to meet a participant’s SEND or individual needs, we may suggest that the course is not the right fit for them. In such instances when a young person is not accepted onto a course, then parents can make representation to the Director of Finance, whose decision on the matter will be final.

When signing up participants should disclose any special educational needs or disabilities to us in the ‘medical info’ section. This will ensure that tutors can make adjustments to their plans and support participants learning. If you are a returning customer with a new diagnosis, it is important that you keep medical information up to date.

If you would like to discuss any additional needs further please email Extra@artsed.co.uk
