ArtsEd EXTRA Phone policy

At ArtsEd EXTRA, safeguarding is our top priority. We want to create an environment where our participants can explore and experiment without unnecessary influence from technology. To do this we are implementing a strict no phones policy on our courses for participants under the age of 16. For those over 16, we strongly urge you to not use your phone during your time with us.

On the rare occasion that participants are asked to use their phones by tutor, they must only be used for the relevant project.

Participants should keep their phones switched off and kept in their bags. Participants must not use phones to take photographs or videos of themselves or others unless given permission to do so by a member of the EXTRA team. If participants are caught using phones inappropriately or during classes, we reserve the right to confiscate your phone until the end of the day.

We understand that visitors may want to take photos or videos of participants in performances. We ask that you please do not post any content on social media or use footage featuring unrelated participants for showreels etc. If an image or video is found on social media you may be asked to remove it.
